Moka takes a seat temporarily and allows his cousin to take priority for his 200th commemorations
Due to the impending bicentennial of Hongi Hika's historically significant journey to England in 1820, where he was permitted an audience with King George IV; was introduced to the Peerage in the House of Lords; and attended Queens' College at Cambridge University, where he assisted Prof Samuel Lee in the compilation of a Maori-English dictionary - Moka's kaupapa (project) will be on temporary hiatus as Hongi's Hikoi: A Trio of Travelers a series of bicentennial commemorative events and educational initiatives, takes precedence during 2020-21.
